With this series, I take aim at surfing, one of the most photographed activities on the planet.

Instead of capturing the thrill of riding a huge wave, though, I’m chasing an alternative realty, one that highlights the intimate connection between surfer and the ocean. Here, surfers become elements of the landscape, stripped of their identities, literally transforming into ethereal beings.
