The Surfing Twins at Cardiff Reef

Telling the 69-year-old identical twins apart is simple at first glance: Michael sports a long dreadlock braid that cascades down to his waist, while Milton’s curly hair is cropped shorter, but no one would call it practical. After that it gets to be a bit of a challenge. Years spent riding big waves around the globe have etched their experiences on both of their faces, but they carry the marks of time with a shared spirit of adventure. Their eyes twinkle with mischief and mirth and positivity, reflecting a deep love of life and camaraderie. Recently, the twins returned to Cardiff Reef, close to the shores where they first discovered their love for surfing as children, and are always one of the first to pull into the “parking lot on the sand”. Unless there’s fog or thunder; then they stay on dry land.
