This series looks at people attending a large Day of the Dead event just north of San Diego. With it’s large Hispanic population, Day of the Dead celebrations occur in many neighborhoods throughout Southern California. The holiday, which honors the memories of loved ones who have passed away, is lively and upbeat and an occasion to play dress up … it lands on the day before Halloween after all.
